You’re at the very beginning of your startup journey. You may not have a market-ready product. You might not have a fully formed team. But you have a vision – and you need capital to turn it into reality.
That’s exactly where a great pre-seed pitch deck comes in. I help early-stage founders build a compelling case for pre-seed investment that works even when you have little to show beyond your idea, your insight, and your drive.
The key to a successful pre-seed pitch deck is understanding how it differs from later-stage pitches. At this stage, investors aren’t expecting a mature product or proven revenue. They’re looking for something deeper: a founder (or founding team) with the vision, credibility, and conviction to make something happen.
A great pre-seed pitch deck focuses on the opportunity and the people. It tells a story – about the problem you’ve identified, why now is the right time to solve it, why the market is in desperate need of your solution, and why you and your team are the ones to do it.
I help you craft a clear, compelling articulation of what you're building and why it matters. At pre-seed, this needs to be inspiring without being vague - grounded in a real problem and a credible solution.
At this stage, investors are backing people above all else. I help you showcase your founding team - their backgrounds, their relevant expertise, and their commitment - in a way that builds investor confidence in your ability to execute.
One of the most important - and often most underestimated - elements of any pitch deck is the problem statement. I help you define the problem precisely and communicate how your solution addresses it in a way that quickly resonates with investors.
You don't need detailed revenue projections at pre-seed, but you do need to show that you understand the financial logic of your business. I help you present your early financial thinking in a clear, credible way that shows investors you've thought through the commercial model.
Even at pre-seed, you need to show that the opportunity is worth pursuing. I help you define your TAM, SAM, and SOM, and frame the market in a way that demonstrates scale potential and a strategic go-to-market focus.
You'll need to be clear on how much investment you need, and how long it will last. I'll help you show a clear use of funds so investors know exactly how you intend to spend their capital to move the business forward.
Before I write a single word or design a single slide, I get deep under the skin of your business. Using my 4-3-2 framework, we identify and build the core investability signals investors look for. By strengthening the foundations that build credibility, we can position your business as worthy of backing.
With your strategy locked in, I develop a pre-seed pitch deck that creates clarity, craft numbers that build belief, and shape a business case that demonstrates opportunity. This foundation confidently communicates your pitch, projections, and potential – turning your idea into a compelling investment.
Once the investment opportunity is prepped and you're feeling confident, I train you on unique playbooks to reach and engage the right investors. By leveraging this proven outreach strategy you can engage investors at scale, drive stronger deal terms and close your round faster.
A pre-seed pitch deck needs to do more than sell the vision; it needs to build trust in your ability to turn your vision into reality, and that reality into huge financial returns.

My book is called Investable Entrepreneur – not Investable Idea – for good reason. At pre-seed, the founder is the product. Investors want to back someone who has the vision to see an opportunity others have missed, and the tenacity to turn it into a reality.
That means your pre-seed pitch deck needs to put you front and centre. I help you tell your story in a way that builds belief – not just in your idea, but in you as the person to make it happen.
My pre-seed pitch deck services are trusted and recommended by industry-leading organisations, incubators and accelerators.
A pre-seed pitch deck is a concise presentation used to attract very early-stage investment – typically from angels, high-net-worth individuals, or pre-seed funds – before a startup has a fully developed product or established revenues. It focuses on the problem, the vision, the team, and the market opportunity.
A pre-seed pitch deck is typically 12–18 slides, and each slide should be 50-75 words (absolutely no more than 100 words). When it comes to an investor pitch, less is more. Investors are often looking at your pitch between meetings, perhaps in the back of a cab on an iPhone – the more you can get across in the least amount of time, the higher your chances of getting a meeting.
Pre-seed funding is the earliest stage of external investment – used to validate a concept, develop an MVP, or build out the founding team. Seed funding typically follows once there is some evidence of traction, product development progress, or early customer validation.
Pre-seed rounds typically range from £50k to £500k, though some rounds stretch further depending on the sector and ambition of the business. The ask should be proportionate to what you’ll achieve with the funding and how far it will take you toward your next milestone.
Not necessarily – but you do need a clear strategy. My process is designed to work from wherever you are. I help you develop your strategic thinking and translate it into a compelling pitch, even if you don’t have a formal business plan in place.
